Godfrey Louis Julien, 70, passed on October 01, 2020. He was born to Henry & Leona Julien on August 25, 1950. He was the youngest of seven siblings: Verna, Irma, Desmond, Margaret, Annette, and Trevor.
Godfrey had 3 children Casey (Tina), Janine (Qucio), and Gabriela. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Tilynn, Julian, Jules, Riley, Khaleesi, Jaxson, Kyle, Quinn, and Connor.
Godfrey graduated from Saint Cristin in Port of Spain in 1967. In his younger years, he enjoyed sports and became a member of the Queens Park Oval Club, where he played table tennis and cricket. He went on to represent Trinidad & Tobago as a professional table tennis player. After his tennis days, Godfrey followed in the steps of his big brother Desmond, joining the Merchant Marines where he traveled abroad living in Norway for five years until settling in the United States in Los Angeles in 1978.
From a young age, Godfrey accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior and was heavily involved in ministry work for many years, including up until his death. Those who knew him well knew that he loved the Lord.
Godfrey is survived in legacy by his sister Irma of Spain, brother Desmond of Coral Springs, FL, sister Annette of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his children; Casey of San Diego, CA, Janine of Temecula, CA, and Gabriela of Pembroke Pines, FL; his grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and long-time friends.
