Gordon Dugan, born on May 20, 1955, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, beat his battle with cancer on July 6, 2024. Surrounded by his loving family, he was ushered into the presence of his Lord.
Gordon graduated from East Stroudsburg High School, class of 1973. After school, he founded both Dugan Real Estate and Dugan Custom Homes, serving his customers with a sense of quality and integrity.
Next to his relationship with God, he put his family above everything else. He was the beloved husband of Eileen Dugan, his wife of forty-four years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Cannon and father, Leonard Dugan, as well as his sister, Lois Van Why and brother, John Dugan. He is survived by his four siblings, Caroline Price, Joseph Levocz, Jacqueline Lapping, and Evon Tullo (spouse Bryan). He was a loving father to his five children: Justin (spouse Kimberly), Karly (spouse Jason), Amy (spouse Caleb), Daniel (spouse Alyssa), and Sarah (spouse Cody). Gordon was also a cherished grandfather to his fifteen grandchildren: Melissa, David, Zachary, Emily, Luke, Megan, Laura, Katy, Seth, Kieran, Bryn, Rowan, Colton, Brielle, and Asher. He was a wonderful uncle and role model to his many nieces and nephews.
Outside of work and family, Gordon had a deep passion for music, playing guitar for over fifty years and leading worship with several of his children for twenty-five years. He composed and arranged numerous songs, passing down his love for music to his family. Additionally, he loved photography, food, fishing, hiking, and spending time in God's creation.
Throughout his life, Gordon brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He will certainly be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laugh, and unwavering love for his family. He will be remembered, most importantly, for his love and dedication to his relationship with his Lord, choosing to worship and glorify God even to the end of his 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.
Although he will be deeply missed, Gordon's memory will be treasured forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
