On May 19th, 2024, the world lost a beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather, Gordon Long, of Orange, California. Born on October 18th, 1956 in Addison, Illinois to Leroy and Henrietta Long. Gordon lived a full and vibrant life.

Gordon was a beloved brother to siblings Susan Caputo and Ronnie Long. He was a dedicated husband to his loving wife Kristine, whom he married almost 40 years ago. Together, they raised two wonderful children; Brittany Smothermon (spouse Zach) and Andrew Long (spouse Sarah). Gordon adored his four grandchildren (Ethan, Colton, Noel and Navy) and cherished the time he spent with them.

Throughout his career, Gordon worked as a District Operations Manager for McDonald's, where he made a lasting impact on his colleagues and community. His work ethic and dedication were admired by all who knew him. In his free time, Gordon enjoyed his passion for bowling and bowled in many leagues and tournaments for over 25 years.

Despite facing a brave battle with cancer, Gordon always maintained his sense of humor and positivity. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, warm smile, and unwavering love for his family.

Gordon may no longer be with us, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Gordon. May you continue to bowl strikes in Heaven.
