Grace Mosley ColsonFuneral services for Grace Mosley Colson, 88, of Tallahassee, FL, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Elder Jon Mizell will officiate. Interment will be in Old Anderson Cemetery, Tattnall County, GA. Mrs. Colson passed away at Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, FL, on Sunday, March 19, 2017. Active pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Mrs. Colson was born on January 18, 1929, in Wrightsville, GA, to the late Silas E. Mosley and Sarah Jutson Page Mosley. On March 26, 1947, she married John Paul Colson, who survives. She was a telephone operator with Southeast Telephone Company. She was a member of Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Whigham. Survivors include: her husband of 70 years, John Paul Colson of Tallahassee, FL; daughter, Linda Grace Bruce (Bob) of Ocoee, FL; sons, Johnny M. Colson (Mona) of Sewall's Point, FL; Ron Colson (Karen) of Tallahassee, FL, Richard W. Colson of Tallahassee, FL; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a son, Daniel Wayne Colson; and six brothers and sisters.
