Grace M. Valentine1927 - 2016Grace M. Valentine, 88, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at Azura Memory Care South. Grace was born on Nov. 22, 1927, in Pleasant Prairie to William and Marie (Christiansen) Pahl. She was educated in Kenosha area schools and graduated from Kenosha High School in 1945. In her early years she worked in the office at the Marshall Field's Factory in Zion, Ill. Grace married Stanley Valentine on Feb. 26, 1949, at St. Mary's Lutheran Church. Grace worked for 25 years in food service at Kenosha Unified Schools. She was a member of St. Mary's Lutheran Church, the Danish Sisterhood and the Sub-Vet Wives of World War II. Grace enjoyed traveling and gardening, but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.She was preceded in death by, her parents, William and Marie Pahl; husband, Stanley in 2002; son, Larry in 1971; and daughter, Susan in 1975.Grace is survived by her daughter, Louise (Mark Miller) Valentinusen of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Joseph (Nate Zolo) Booth of Mt.
