We are sad to announce the passing of Granett Wright, who was born on May 9, 1957, and passed away on June 23, 2025, in Queens, New York. Granett was known for his incredible talent in the kitchen, having worked as a chef for People choose chef before retiring in 2005.

Granett had a passion for gardening and cooking, always willing to share his favorite recipes with friends and family. He was a beloved member of the community and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Granett married his loving spouse Edna in 1997, and together they had 2 children: Jackie Trever and had 2 more children of his own Kevin and Miriam. He was also a proud grandparent to four grandchildren.

Granett's zest for life and infectious sense of humor will forever be remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He passed away peacefully due to cardiac arrest, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
