Gregory McConnell, 71, of Wilkinson, Indiana, passed on December 29, 2021 following a courageous battle with throat cancer. He was born on June 07, 1950 to the late Lindy McConnell and Jennie McConnell (McGee).

Greg worked at The Auto Works for many years and eventually took over the business until his health began to decline.

 He was married to the love of his life , Leoma McConnell (Strouse), for over 30 years before her passing in 2007. Together they raised 4 boys. 

He was a quiet man, who was content with the simple things in life. He loved to carve wood, hunt and fish with his sons. And he was a very proud "Papaw". 

His kind and gentle spirit will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Along with his father, mother and wife, he is proceded in death by infant daughter, Crystal, and brother Russell McConnell. 

He is survived by his sons Jeremy (Devera) McConnell of Coshocton, Wesley (Joni) McConnell of Coshocton, Adam (Dana) McConnell of Newcomerstown, and Rusty (Michelle) McConnell whom he resided with for the past 7 years in Wilkinson, Indiana, 12 grandchildren, many siblings, neices and nephews. 

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2022.
