Gregory Alan Williams was born July 7th 1958 in Saint Louis Missouri he was the youngest of 4 children born to the late Gregory Williams jr. and Mabel L. Williams his sisters Carol A. Walls and Beverly Y. Perry preceded him in death. Gregory was educated in the public schools of Saint Louis Missouri and attended Soldan High School. He later matriculated at Forest Park Community College he also study piano under the direction of Mr. Sam Nicholas. He loved to play he is repertoire of songs anytime he saw a piano. Gregory was confirmed at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church as a youth.
Gregory worked in the Saint Louis public school system for a few years before relocating to Atlanta Georgia. While in Atlanta he study automotive technology and became an ASE certified master mechanic. This is when he discovered his gift and passion for diagnosing and repairing cars. He used his talents at Pep Boys, Goodyear and at Firestone until he left on disability. He continue to use his gifts of repairing cars for family, friends and neighbors when his health permitted.
Gregory leaves to cherish his memory: children Mylatesha Merriweather, Tyhira Merriweather of Saint Louis, Missouri; brother Gregory Williams lll (Rosetta) of Saint Louis, Missouri; brother-in-laws Raymond Perry, Artie Walls of Saint Louis, Missouri and Willie C. Johnson (Mary) of Atlanta, Georgia; sister-in-laws Yolanda Cummings-Hamm (Clark), Arnetha Barnes, Valerie Wilson (Larry), Vanessa Barnes of Atlanta Georgia; aunt Sarah Grant of Atlanta Georgia; nieces, Kimberly Hall (Grover) of Atlanta Georgia and Genetta Williams of Saint Louis Missouri, nephews Artie B. Walls (Mary) of Saint Louis Missouri, a special cousin Vos Brown and a host of grandchildren, great children, family, Friends and clients.
