Gussie Blash was born August 15, 1940 in Bibb County, Macon, Georgia. She quietly transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, January 2, 2023. Gussie was preceded in death by her husband, George Alfred Blash Sr.

Gussie was educated in the Bibb County Public School System. She worked as a caregiver for over 35 years at Christian Towers.

Gussie leaves her cherished memories to her ten children and many grandchildre; Hubert Shinholster, Delores Blash, George Alfred Blash Jr., Rose Marie Johnson, Curtis Blash, Cynthia Searcy, Christopher Blash, Geneva Blash, Herbert Brooks, and Darlene Johnson. 

Her grandchildren being, TyShawn Blash, Antorrick Blash, Chvariois Blash, Christacia Blash, George Blash III, Tiffany Dunham-Blash, Deroddrick Johnson, Maurice Johnson, Sophia Blash, Dennis Searcy Jr., Cory Searcy, Chasity Blash, Christpoker Blash Jr, Antonious Blash, Nicholas Johnson, and Kristen Ledford-Johnson.
