GUY WALLACE CHERRY JR was born on June 18,1922 in Paris Tennesse to the late Guy wallace and Vernell Cherry SR.

After graduation from Henery County High School in 1941, He relocated to Chicago IL. Where he met and married Josie Mae Francis for 45 years who proceeded him in death and to this union two chilldren were born. Darryl K Cherry and Lori M Cherry.

Guy was a very hardwoeking indivual while gainfully employed as a Longshoreman. Before his retirement he took a custodian position for the Archadiocese Of Chicago.

Guy departed this life on October 10,2019.

He leaves to cherish one son Darryl K(Barbara) Cherry, and one daughter Lori Wilburn. Eight grandchildren : Rashaun(Tonia) Cherry, Keishauna Jackson, Brian Cherry, Taylor Cherry, Darryl Marie Cherry, Milia Wilburn, Marian Wilburn, and Charity(Corey) Banks. Ten great grandchildren. One niece Janice(Malcom)Stubbs and one great niece Steaphine(Tony) Garret and a host of other relatives and friends.
