Gwendolyn Blount , 75, of Durham, North Carolina, passed on Sunday July 03, 2022. Gwendolyn was born on Monday August 26, 1946. Gwendolyn lived in New Britain Connecticut for half her life then moved to Durham NC where she was from and lived out the rest of her life. Gwendolyn loved her family and her church . No Greater Love Christian Church was her church family that she loved dearly. She loved her pastor Arlene Chavis and didn't play about her and she didn't play about Mrs Blount. She was a faithful servant who always put God first. She was a sweet soul an amazing person and a mother and grandma to everyone . People naturally gravitated to Mrs Blount and loved her to pieces . Everywhere she went she met people and they became friends and family for life . She is the true definition of a person with a big heart and soul. She may be gone for now but she will never be forgotten . She will be truly missed by everyone . She leaves behind her daughters Felicia Boyd , April Blount , Aletha Steele . Her granddaughters Nya Boyd and Shanay conaway. Her great grand kids Nia Mills and Noah mills , Lemar Lawrence , and Brayden Williams . Her sisters Lois Royster , and Carolyn Clemons. Also a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. May you Rest In Peace mother Blount.
