Gwendolyn Elizabeth Eppard62, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2017 in Muncie, IN.Gwen was born on August 11, 1955 in Enterprise, AL to her parents, Theodore and Betty Weiss. She married Phillip Eppard in 1975. Gwen was a dedicated wife and mother, raising four daughters and a grandson.Her main joy was serving others in various capacities including being a Sunday School teacher, volunteering at the church food bank, and working at a local non-profit organization.  She also enjoyed many hobbies including baking, sewing, crafting, gardening, and walking on the beach.She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Phillip Eppard; four daughters and sons-in-law, Erin and Wade Donovan, Erica Eppard and Robert Matthes, Emily and Gilbert Bonilla, Elise and Shaun Dujardin; her grandson, Blake; two brothers, Richard Weiss and Ted Weiss; and several nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by dear friends Diana Crouse and daughter Melissa, Mieko Sakurai-Graham, Elizabeth Bonilla, and Rev. Penny Brown.It was Gwen's desire to continue to help others as an organ donor and by giving her earthly body to the IU School of Medicine for research.  A cremation will follow.  In lieu of flowers, please volunteer or donate to your .
