Gwendolyn Carter-Jones , 62, of Schenectady, New York, passed on January 20, 2021. Gwendolyn was born on January 02, 1959 In Steubenville Ohio to Marion Carter-Lapoint and Early Hunt. Gwen's great aunt Dorthy bloomer-Milton raised her as her own from infancy. she was raised in Saratoga Springs NY with her grandmother Catherine Agnus Bloomer and her son Napolean D Bloomer. she graduated from Saratoga Springs highschool in 1977. Shortly after her family moved to Los Angeles California where she enrolled and graduated with a Arts degree from Pasadena Community College in 1981. 

Gwendolyn gave birth to four beautiful children Monique in 1981, Amber Searles in 1983, Daniel Jones in 1993 and the late Deanna Jones in 1997. She married Lowell Irvin Jones in 1992 and settled in Schenectady Ny where they raised their children. She loved working with children and after studying early childhood education at SUNY Albany she became a preschool teacher at the YWCA for many years. Gwen was a down to earth women who loved caring and cooking for the people in her community and was always willing to give a helping hand. She enjoyed designing weddings, parties and church events. she loved her family dearly and the word of Christ! She was a dedicated member at Bethel C.O.G.I.C for many decades where she was a evangelist missionary. 

After a short illness, the lord called her home to glory at Ellis hospital on January 20, 2021. she leaves to rejoice in her homegoing three children Monique, Amber, Daniel and granddaughter Eden. Her uncle Napoleon and wife Maryon Bloomer, his sons Raymond and Ryan, Her Cousin Linda Roberts Smith and sons Edward AAron and Blair all of California. And many friends and extended family members.
