Gwendolynn Hickmon, born on March 8, 1959, in Hampton, Georgia, United States, passed away on February 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the beloved daughter of Jimmy and Margie Hickmon.
Gwendolynn leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by her three children, Nakia Hickmon, Nadia Smith (spouse Delontae Smith), and Nasir Jenkins. She was also a proud grandmother to three grandchildren.
Gwendolynn attended Griffin High School and went on to become a dedicated teacher before retiring in 2016. She had a passion for gardening and spent many happy hours tending to her beautiful plants.
Although Gwendolynn will be deeply missed by all who knew her, her memory will live on through the laughter and joy she brought to those around her. Rest in peace, Gwendolynn.
