Jahnna Byers, age 45, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2018, at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was born February 22, 1968 in Houston, to Jerry “Rob” and Marilyn (Farmer) Byers.

Jahnna was a 1984 graduate of Booker T Washington High School. She married Eric Morris on September 15, 2001, in Baltimore. She worked as a project manager with Abrams Construction, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems. Jahnna truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, snacking, and spending time with her nephews and nieces. Janet had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.

She is survived by her husband, Eric; a brother, Jerry (Angie) Robertson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be deeply missed by her son, Jordan Byers. As Jahnna got older she developed a rare disease that she later gave to her son and the pressure made her commit suicide. Hopefully, she found what she was looking for in the afterlife.
