With deepest sorrow Haison Akiem Williams, 47, passed on February 21, 2023. He was born to James Hall Jr. and Carolyn Williams in New Orleans, Louisiana, on December 20, 1975. Surviving Hurricane Katrina in 2005, he migrated to Austin, Texas, with his mother and two younger brothers, Kimani and Emeka, for a better quality of life.
Haison was a one-of-a-kind guy. He loved to help people and make people laugh. He always helped somebody no matter what they needed; whatever they needed, Haison was there. He was terrific with electronics, and designing clothes. He was always fixing things, taking apart, and rediscovering them.
Those who knew Haison knew he truly loved his family, and there will never be another him. Many liked him well because of his sincerity and sense of humor. He constantly made his mother laugh, calling her “Ms. Carol.”
We will remember his unique laugh and would laugh about everything. Haison was light-hearted and opinionated and never had a bad bone in his body. He was a beautiful soul, and God blessed us with a caring son, brother, uncle, and father in the Williams Family.
Haison will be missed every day by his Mother, Carolyn, Brothers Kimani and Emeka, Neice Armani, nephews Kimani Jr., Neiamiah, and Jeremiah, and daughter Briana Hagens
