We gather here today to remember and celebrate the life of Hakeem Hardy, a true Bronx legend, who graced this world from November 6, 1991, until June 17th, 2023.

Hakeem was a man with a larger-than-life personality that could light up any room he entered. He had an infectious smile that could melt hearts and a charm that was simply undeniable. If you ever felt down, Hakeem knew exactly how to bring a smile to your face.
One thing everyone knew about Hakeem was his deep love for Bronx. He was a true Bronxite through and through, always boasting about his hometown and its vibrant spirit. From the bustling streets to the famous Yankee Stadium, Hakeem cherished every corner of this borough and its people.
Hakeem had a passion for animals, Since a young age he loved watching the National Geography Channel. Also, bringing creepy crawly things home to freak out his mother.
But above all, Hakeem cherished his loved ones. A doting father to his two children, Zenobia and Hazel. Family meant everything to him, and he would always go above and beyond to ensure their happiness and well-being.
While we mourn the loss of Hakeem, let us remember him for the joy, love, and laughter he brought into our lives. He taught us how to appreciate the simple pleasures, embrace our passions wholeheartedly, and above all, cherish the bonds we share with one another.
Hakeem leaves to morn his death ten brothers and two sisters. Shaquan Hardy, John Johnson, Quamaine Hardy, Dominque Hardy, Alijuan Sutton, Tyrone Cromdey, Shaquin Cromdey, James Knowings JR, Aaron Knowings, and Joshua Knowings. Jazmine Knowings, and Ja'Naya Knowings. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins aunts and uncles.
Today, as we say our goodbyes, let us celebrate the incredible life of Hakeem Hardy. His laughter will forever echo in our hearts, and his legacy will continue to inspire us to live life to the fullest.
