It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harald Young, who was born on April 6, 1950 and passed away on December 21, 2025 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States.

Harald was the beloved son of John Young and Lisa Covell. He is survived by his loving daughter, Birette Young-Maynard, and his son-in-law, David Maynard. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren.

Harald attended Patterson High School in Baltimore, where he formed lifelong friendships and discovered his passion for woodworking. After graduating, he pursued a career in carpentry and became known for his meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Harald will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
