Harold Lawson BodieHAROLD LAWSON BODIE- Age 86 of Knoxville Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017. Known by many as Harold, he was always Lawson to his family. Lawson was born on May 15, 1931 in Jay, Florida to Homer Lee and Alene Hughen Bodie. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Aaron, Billy and H. Jerry Bodie; and sister, June Mackey. He is survived by his loving sisters, Joyce Digmon of Prattville, Alabama, Pat Spencer and Marilyn Moore; and sister-in-law, Brenda Bodie all of Knoxville; and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to his beautiful sisters who provided such loving care and support to Lawson over the last several years. The family will receive friends from 5-6 PM Wednesday with the funeral service to follow at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Highway. Family and friends will meet Friday July 14, at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. John Sevier Hwy. Knoxville TN 37920, for a 9:30 AM graveside service.
