In Loving Memory of Harold “Eazy” Harvey

Harold “Eazy” Harvey was born on September 13, 1993, in Dallas, Texas, and from the very beginning, he was a force to be reckoned with. He was a silly, adventurous child with a strong-willed spirit—it was his way or no way at all. He loved playing football and basketball, and while back injuries later kept him off the field, that never stopped him from flipping around the neighborhood with his friends and dancing whenever he had the chance. Movement was in his soul, and he took every opportunity to perform in talent shows, dance his heart out, and express himself through art.

As the middle of three boys, Harold grew up surrounded by brotherhood and mischief with Keontea Johnson and Nicholas Steinhoff. Family meant everything to him, a lesson he carried into adulthood. In 2014, he married Tajnai Harvey, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to their three children, Ariah, Micah, and Kyro. They were his greatest joy, his proudest achievements, and the reason he gave his all every single day.

Harold had an artist's soul, a gift he expressed in many ways—from creating stunning tattoos to crafting delicious dishes as a sous chef. But his greatest masterpieces were always his children. He took immense pride in coaching his sons in football and basketball, being their loudest cheerleader and toughest coach. And with his daughter, he encouraged every sketch, every fashion design, and every anime creation—because he knew she was destined for something incredible.

His presence was big, bold, and unforgettable. If Harold walked into a room, you felt it—his sarcasm, his booming laughter, his playful roasting that made everyone feel like family. He had a way of lifting spirits, of making the ordinary moments feel like something special. And when the music was on, you better believe he was dancing, being silly, and turning life into a celebration.

Through all the ups and downs, Harold never let the struggles of his own childhood define the father he would be. He made a promise—to always show up, to always be present, and to fight for the ones he loved the most. That’s what we’ll remember: his love, his care, his goofiness, and his unwavering loyalty.

Though grief weighs heavy, we will carry his laughter in our hearts, his love in our memories, and his spirit in our everyday lives. Harold "Eazy" Harvey was one of a kind, and his story will live on in the family and friends who were blessed to know him.

Rest easy, Eazy. We love you, always.
