This obituary is administered by:
Harold Andrew Esterbrook Our beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior on November 10, 2016. Hal was born on November 30, 1933, on a farm in Yantic, CT. Growing up he loved all sports, but his true passion was music, and he was honored to perform with the renowned Airforce Concert Jazz Band. He earned a B.A. in music education from UPS and a master's degree in administration from PLU. Over the course of his career, Hal taught in Tacoma for five years and served in Puyallup for 30 years as both a teacher and a principal. He is survived by his "Little Angel" Shirley, of 61 years. Living in Puyallup they raised their three children: Laura (Jay), Kathi (Gordie), Donny (Adria). Hal is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, David, Mikala, Brandon, Ariel (Dan), Mariah and Alec. After retiring in 1992, Hal enjoyed camping, golfing, and attending his grandchildren's events. He will be forever remembered for his devotion to his family, his unwavering faith and his witty sense of humor. A celebration of his life will be held Nov. 18, 2016, at 5:30 PM at Saint Andrews Church in Sumner, WA. A reception dinner will follow.
