Harold Eugene Hardeman Sr., age 70, of Port Orange, passed away on November 4, 2016 at Halifax Care Center Port Orange after a battle with cancer. He was born on August 3, 1946 and was preceded in death by his son, Harold Hardeman (JR) and his parents. During his lifetime Harold was a Navy Veteran from 1964 through 1971, a Daytona Police Officer from 1971 through 1974, and Arson Investigator in Alabama and he owned and operated his own construction company and retired from the city of South Daytona Public Works Department. Harold is survived by his wife Shirley and daughter Dawna O'Brien (Ben) of Daytona Beach, and his wife Shirley's daughter, Kerri Peller and son Kevin Mulrooney and his five grandchildren. Harold has three sisters and two brothers. Harold was a member of Unity Community Church in New Smyrna Beach. Harold requested he be cremated. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 3:30 pm at the Unity Community Church, 516 South Orange Street, New Smyrna Beach, Florida 32164. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Halifax Oncology Center (The ROC) in memory of Harold. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations, Port Orange, Florida.
