Harold James HornMANSFIELD: Harold James Horn, 74, of Mansfield passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Harold was the son of Edwin J. and Eleanor B. (Bunker) Horn, born on October 23, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio.Harold was a 1960 graduate of Madison High School and a graduate of Ashland University receiving his bachelor degree. He proudly served in the US Army from 1966-1968. Harold worked at Mansfield Tire and then retired from BDI as the Operations Manager. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, motor sports and watching college football. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Cheryl (Nikolaus) Horn; a sister, Margaret "Peggy" (Willie) Feagin of Mansfield; a nephew, Otis Horn of Mansfield; step-children, Donald Rice of Fayetteville, NC, and Tonya (Joseph) Johnson of Mansfield; and a step-grandchild, Derek Johnson of Mansfield. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a step-grandchild, Brittany Eater.The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Donald Lee Wilson officiating. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery on German Church Road in Mansfield.
