Harold P. Jungels, 78St. CloudJuly 17, 1938 - March 16, 2017A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11AM, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Harold P. Jungels, age 78 of St. Cloud who died Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Heritage of Foley Nursing Home.  Rev. LeRoy Scheierl will officiate and burial will be in the Rockville parish cemetery.  Family and friends may call from 4-8PM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Williams Dingmann Funeral Home, St. Cloud and also one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Harold was born on July 17, 1938 in Cold Spring to Walter and Catherine (Ruegemer) Jungels.  He proudly served his country for six years in the United States Army Reserves.  Harold married Lorraine Huschle on January 6, 1962 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, St. Cloud.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Legion of Mary, Catholic United Financial, Rockville Lions Club (receiving the Helen Keller award in 2006), Central MN Koinonia, God Child Project and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.  Harold was a carpenter all of his life and he enjoyed working in his shop.  He was hard-working, witty and had a dry sense of humor.  He was a walking Funk and Wagnall (encyclopedia). Harold was a generous, loving and caring family man who walked strongly in his faith.Survivors include his loving wife, Lorraine; children, Eric (Lil) Jungels of Rush City, Kris (Beth) Jungels of Rochester, Julie Jungels of Duluth, Jeffrey (Joanna) Jungels of Monticello, Patricia Jungels of Howard Lake, Nancy (Robert) Goldie of North Canton, OH and Melissa (Amy Hollan) Jungels of Coon Rapids, MN; brothers and sister, Rita Schwartz of St. Nicholas, Walter Jr. (Joyce) of Sydney, Montana, Stanley (Alice) of Cold Spring and Marvin (Linda) of St. Nicholas; brother-in-law, Gilbert Brinker; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mildred (Norbert) Hemmesch, Cletus (Shirley) Jungels, Esther Brinker, Patricia Hoffstrom; brother-in-law, Jerome Schwartz; grandchildren, Devin Jungels, Alex and Brian Jungels.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Catholic Charities, Central MN Koinonia or the .
