Hawley, Harold K. (Hal)Harold K. (Hal) Hawley, 79, of Hot Springs Village AR, passed away March 11, 2017, after a courageous fight with cancer.He was born on July 28, 1937, in Binghamton, N.Y.Hal is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Hawley and James Hawley; sister, Rosemarie Behanik; brother, James Hawley, and stepson John Taylor.He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Stephanie Hawley; sister, Dawn Saeman; sons, Rick Hawley (Caroline), Brian Hawley, Robert Hawley and Kevin Hawley (Aimee); daughter, Kathleen Garey (Patrick); stepsons, Christopher Taylor and Timothy Taylor, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his favorite dog, Jack.Hal had a long rewarding career of over 36 years at IBM Corporation in Endicott, NY and Austin, TX after which he and Stephanie retired to Hot Springs Village, AR.Celebration of Hal's life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 7, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, in Hot Springs Village, with Father Neil Kaminski officiating.Memorials may be made to the Hot Springs Village Animal Shelter.
