Harold Kent LakeHarold Kent Lake, 70, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017.He was born on September 24, 1946 in Marion, Indiana to Anita Joanne (Wiley) Hall and the late Harold E. Lake.Harold graduated from Marion High School in 1964 and attended Ball State University until 1965 when he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served from 1965 to 1971 during the Vietnam War. He was stationed in Vietnam and Thailand.He had worked as a Chef at the Indiana Veterans Home and was a former Manager at Dairy Queen.Harold enjoyed gardening, animals, and traveling with his BFF, James D. Cochran.Surviving are his mother, Anita (Ron) Joanne Wiley Hall of Kokomo and his brothers, Robert (Marjorie) Lake of Lafayette and Philip C. (Karen) Lake of Tipton.He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Lake.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with services following at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Battle Ground Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to Community Cancer Network in loving memory of Harold.You may light a Candle of Hope in remembrance of Harold and sign his online guestbook by visiting www.fisherfuneralchapel.com
