Harold Neuman SharpeMarch 26, 1921 - January 3, 2016Harold Neuman Sharpe, 94, passed away on January 3, 2016 at a local hospital. Harold was born on March 26, 1921 in Grass Creek, WY to Windsor and Laura Belle Sharpe.Harold married and divorced Irma Billick and to that union there were three children. Their children are daughter, Patricia and son, David who have passed on, and daughter, Susan.Harold was a 22 year veteran of the United States Navy reaching the rank of Master Chief. He served in WWII and the Korean War in various parts of the world. After ending his active service, he worked as a Civil Servant for 15 years in Mountain Home, ID and for 4 years in Alaska. He was also a member of the Nez Pierce Indian Tribe.Harold became a Master Mason in 1952 and was a member of Mount Moriah Lodge #39 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons in Caldwell, ID. In 1953, he became a member of the Eastern Star and was a member of Meridian Chapter #66 in Meridian, ID. Harold was also a member of the Baptist Church in Middleton, ID. Harold was also known as "Joe and Angel" to his many friends. Harold is preceded in death by his parents; son, David and daughter, Patricia. He is survived by his daughter, Susan and several grandchildren. Memorials may be made in his name to . A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian.
