We are saddened to announce the passing of Harold Mapley, a beloved member of the Petersburg community. Harold, 84, departed this world on January 3, 2025. Born on September 7, 1940, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. A dedicated friend and neighbor, Harold was known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dedicated and devoted friend of many here Laura Powell and Children Latoya and Lakeisha Powell which they would call him Daddy Mapley. May he rest in peace knowing that his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
