Harold Wickersham1922 - 2014Harold Wickersham, 91, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at his home. He was born on May 6, 1922, in Chili, Wis., to the late Louis and Leona Bealer Wickersham. Mr. Wickersham served in the CC Camps of Wisconsin and the Army Air Core as a plane mechanic for WWII. He served as commander of the Legion Post 21 and Chief of the 4c & 8. He later became a welder at Simons and American Motors of Kenosha, Wis. He was an active member of the American Legion and the UAW for many years. At the time of his passing, he was living with his daughter in Alabama. He was preceded in death by his wives, Lucille Redlin Wickersham and Mary Lou Bach Wickersham; parents, Louis and Leona Bealer Wickersham; brothers, Buz and Glen Wickersham; and one sister Mary Lou. Survivors include daughters, Sharon Lukuszewski and Barbara Plaiss and husband, Bruce of Alabama; sister, Joyce Deichel and husband, Don; brother, John Wickersham and wife, Loraina; six granddaughters; ten great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 12 Noon to 1 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. Burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
