Swansboro, NC - Harriet Strattman Berry passed away August 12, 2014, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene P. Mike Berry. She was born on November 30, 1937, in New Milford, CT to Harold and Anna (Wojciechowski) Strattman. She was also preceded in death by her beloved stepmother and friend, Madeline Lyons.Mrs. Berry attended New Milford Parochial and NM High Schools. She worked at Winchester Electronics and retired from Nestle-Westreco. She was a lifetime member of the Ladies Aux# 9960 Cedar Point. She loved to bake. She made birthday cakes for everyone in New Milford, then brought her talent with her to her beautiful home near the sea, in Swansboro, North Carolina. She also enjoyed embroidery and crochet. She was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to everyone she met, she was loved by all.Mrs. Berry is survived by her children, Annette Morasco Marcus and her husband Jeff, Anthony Duke Morasco, Sharon Morasco Baldwin and her husband ED, Patricia Morasco Terracino and her late husband, Jerome. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Joshua, Courtney, Toni, Danny, Samantha, Noah, Mia, Gianna and two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Cody. She was looking forward to a new addition to her family in November. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sandra Forese, Sue Martin, and Linda McGarr and her Aunt Roberta and her sister in laws, several nieces, nephews, many cousins and close friends.She was also preceded in death by her son, Baby Audie and her brother John Henry Strattman, and lastly her cat Rusty.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.Arrangements are by Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro, North Carolina are as follows. Visitation August 14th at Jones Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. followed by a 12:00 graveside service at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
