When is anyone ready to give up life? Harriet wasnt, she was doing wonderful things. But she died. Harriet has a guaranteed future of life, guaranteed from God himself. It is written in his word at John 5:28&29;. It says that all those in memorial tombs and graves will come out to life again. Like Lazarus, who woke back to life and the arms of his loved ones, Harriet will enjoy the same. Certainly it is wonderful to look forward to seeing her again.

Death brings sorrow and tears, and it is hard to adjust to the absence of a loved one. But what comfort and strength we gain from the assurance that our Almighty God will actually swallow up death forever, and will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.! Isaiah 25:8, Revelation 21:3,4
