Harriette P. RefinatiTHORNVILLE: Harriette P. Refinati of Thornville, Ohio, was born on April 26, 1940 in Charlottesville, Virginia; to the late Joseph and Catherine Frazier. She passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.Harriette was married to the late James David Refinati in Columbus, Ohio on August 15, 1959. They were married for 57 years, before his passing on September 28, 2016. Harriette graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1959.Harriette was a member of the Fairfield Beach United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. She was a past Noble Grand of Monticello Rebekah Lodge #885. Harriette was an active member of the Millersport Lions and Lioness Clubs, Fairfield Beach, Millersport and Buckeye Lake Senior Citizens Club, and The American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post #637. She was a Past 13K President of the district 13K Lioness club and a Melvin Jones Fellow award recipient of the Millersport Lions Club.Harriette is survived by her son James (Bobbie) Refinati of Columbus, daughter Lisa Dudley of Thornville; two brothers Donald (Debbie) Frazier of Gahanna, Lamont (Josephine) Frazier of Flushing, Michigan, sister-in-law Patricia, Chester, Virginia, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A special thanks goes out to caregivers, Tony Horvath and Denise Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband James David Refinati and her brother Joe Frazier.The family prefers that donations in her memory be directed to the Fairfield Beach United Methodist Church.Friends may call on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville, or on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 9:30 until time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the Fairfield Beach United Methodist Church, 5570 Fairfield Beach Rd, Thornville. Burial will follow in Shawnee Cemetery.
