Harry Evans "Pete" Meyn, 72, passed away on October 5, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born on September 17, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska to Harry and Evelyn Meyn. Pete is survived by: his wife, Judith; daughter, Sara; sons, Joshua and Aaron; brother, William; grandchild, Eric and numerous family members and friends.

Pete attended Wentworth Military Academy, the University of Missouri, and the Arizona State University perusing an education in mathematics and engineering. It was there he discovered a love of programming and embarked on a storied career as a software engineer with working with NASA to design and author the software for our original Space Shuttle Orbiter and ISS flight simulators.

In his spare time, Pete was a voracious reader and golfer. He was also an incredibly talented woodworker and spent countless hours in his workshop building family treasures that occupy the homes and hearts of his beloved children and friends.
