Harry R. CarmichaelZANESVILLE: Harry R. Carmichael, 84, of 544 Seborn Ave. Zanesville, died at 5:10 a.m. Sat. August 31, 2013 at Genesis Hospice-Morrison House. He was born on March 24, 1929 in Zanesville, Ohio. Harry married Roberta Kay Manley of Moundsville, West Virginia on Aug. 22, 1957. He was retired from Barth Industries in Cleveland. His hobbies include stock car driving, hunting, building and flying radio control airplanes.He is survived by his wife, Kay of the home; son, Scott (Christine) Carmichael of Zanesville; three daughters, Julie (Jeff) Huffman of Zanesville, Susan (Mark) Brill of Chandlersville, and Patricia (Andy) Murphy of White Cottage; grandchildren, Slade Carmichael, Tony Ramos, Clint Huffman, Tyler Harrison, twins Paige and McKenzie Carmichael; great-grandchildren, Delaney and Dryden Carmichael, Ollievyr Ramos; sister, Norma Monroe of Canton.He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (Thomas) Carmichael; son, Jeff Carmichael; grandson, Ryan Huffman; two brothers, Frank Carmichael and Chuck Carmichael; sister, Beverly Winland.A cremation will take place and memorial visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Tue. Sept. 3, 2013 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage. Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care.
