Burdge Jr., age 60, of Readington, NJ passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Brown Mills, NJ.He was born on May 18, 1956 in Flemington, NJ. He was a lifelong resident of Readington, NJ. He was the son of the late Harry W. Burdge Sr. and Norma Catanio Burdge.Harry was the husband of Donna M. Christopher Burdge, celebrating 12 years of marriage. He was a Heavy Equipment Construction Operator with local #825 Operating Engineers in Springfield, NJ.Harry was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed salt water fishing and restoring antique John Deere tractors. Harry was considered to be a master mechanic who could make anything work, and he loved sharing his mechanical knowledge with his friends. In his younger years, he loved making cars into hot rods. Harry was an extremely loving husband and a wonderful provider for his family. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor. Survivors in addition to his loving wife include his beloved pets; Mardi, Finnegan and Diesel. He is also survived by his cherished sister; Marsha Sepesi and her husband Bob of Ringoes, NJ. 2 nephews; Chris Sepesi and his wife Jamie of Flemington, NJ and Matt Sepesi of Cocoa, FL. 1 great-nephew, Lucas Sepesi, who was Harry's love and inspiration. Harry is also survived by many cousins and dear friends who loved him. Calling hours will be Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 4pm - 8pm at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Funeral Mass will be Friday, March 17, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Magdalen's Catholic Church, 105 Mine Road, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
