Dr. Harvey Paul Fishman, 76 of Dunnellon, Florida died on Thursday, October 13, 2016. He was born on Monday, June 24, 1940 to Sam and Ann (Shatz) Fishman in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Fishman was a graduate of Ohio State University School of Optometry and was an optometrist in the Cleveland area for over thirty years. Dr. Fishman enjoyed playing bridge and was passionate about animals, especially dogs.Dr. Fishman was preceded in death by his parents; Sam and Ann (Shatz) Fishman and by his brother, Marvin Fishman.Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years, Debby Fishman of Dunnellon, Florida; his beloved service dog, Ronee and his dog Sebastian.Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.Arrangements entrusted to Fero Funeral Home. www.ferofuneralhome.com.
