Hattie Reed-Clark-Newton, age 95, of Glenn Heights, Texas, passed away on May 5, 2025. She was born on December 27, 1929, to Parker Spurgen Reed and Lurlie (Lully) Knox-Reed.

Hattie was married to John Junal Clark and later to Clifton Newton in 1975. Together, they had six children: Anthony, Jimmy Lee, Mariann, Donna Renae, Fatimah SM, Theresa Ann, and John Edward (Deceased).

She studied at Romulus School and continued her education at Saint Mary College. Hattie worked as a Licensed Minister Evangelist and retired in 1999. She also dedicated her time to the Youth fostering organization.

Outside of work, Hattie enjoyed singing, art, and flowers.

Hattie is survived by her children and their spouses: Anthony (Elizabeth), Jimmy Lee (Debra Linnear), Mariann, Donna Renae, Fatimah SM (Charles Lewis Price), and Theresa Ann (Michael Timms). She is also survived by ten grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her loving spirit and generosity. Hattie's legacy will live on through her family and all those she touched throughout her life.
