Hattie Smalls, was born May 07, 1944 to the union of the late Clarice and Theodore Hall. She was one if 6 children.
She was raised in Huntsville Alabama, where she met her late husband Robert Smalls Sr. in 1962, moved to New York City and they lived together in Jamaica Queens. Hattie worked at Private Health Aide for 35 years until she retired in 2008.
Hattie May was had a heart of gold. Everybody called her Big Momma. She was honest, hardworking and lively. She was known for big hats and loud mouth. She loved nothing more than being a grandmother and bragged about her great grands.
Hattie May is preceded in death by her Husband Robert Smalls, Mother Clarice Hall, Father, Theodore Hall, Sisters Modestine Tankson, and Smitty Hall
Hattie leaves to mourn 3 children: Robert Smalls Jr., Cynthia Smalls, and Cathy Small, 2 Sisters: Lilly Ann Williams and Phyllis Smith 1 Brother: Donald Hall. 3 Grandchildren: Sadarie Salmond, Shaquanna Johnson, and Barney Wilson. Her great grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends
