HESSTON-Kremer, Hazel A. 84, passed away on February 27, 2016, at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. She was born on May 28, 1931 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Elbert and Goldie (Grove) King. On May 6, 1951, Hazel married Lorne Kremer in Los Angeles, CA. He passed away February 17, 1996. They moved to Hesston in 1979 from Milford, NE. Hazel was a member of Whitestone Mennonite Church, Hesston. She worked as an accountant for the Mennonite Foundation and also volunteered in the Hesston College Development Office. Hazel is survived by three sons, Richard (Jane Carroll) Kremer of West Lebanon, NH, Russell Kremer of Centerville, OH, and Rod (Charla) Kremer of Wichita; one daughter, Kathleen Kremer and Richard McFall of Innsbrook, MO; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lorne; two brothers, Donald and Ronald King; and one sister, Helen Stork. Visitation with family present will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2016, at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston. Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Whitestone Mennonite Church, Hesston with Pastor Jill Weaver officiating. Burial will precede the memorial service. Memorials may be sent to the Good Shepherd Hospice or Schowalter Villa Good Samaritan Fund, both in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, 107 S. Lancaster, Hesston, KS 67062.
