Hazel Lucielle StewartHazel Lucielle Stewart, 81, of Springfield Mo passed away on June 1st 2017. She was born on February 19th, 1936 in Fair Grove, Missouri. Hazel graduated from Fair Grove High School in 1954 and was united in marriage in 1955 to Buel Stewart. Hazel was known as Grandma Hazel for many years. Not only was she a wonderful mother and grandmother to her family but many kids over the years felt her loving nature and called her Grandma Hazel. She was preceeded in death by her husband Buel Stewart, parents Harry and Eunice Boehme, two sisters Norma Lee Bass and Betty Lou Boehme, great-granddaughter Allison Stewart. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved gardening and enjoyed attending to the family farm. She is survived by her sister Doris Buckner, her son David Stewart and wife Nancy, daughter Karen Easter and husband Craig. She adored her grandchildren Amy and Kyle Ricketts, Amanda Easter, Ryan Easter, Sarah and Gordon Simpson, Kevin Stewart, James and Karissa Stewart as well as 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday June 4, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Greenlawn North funeral home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Greenlawn with burial to follow at Bass Chapel Cemetery. Memorials in Hazels name may be made to Baptist Hill Youth Camp in care of the Southern Baptist Association.
