The world lost a beloved mother, Heather Elaine Elbreisus (Adams), on (specified date). Heather was a tough warrior her whole life through trials and tribulations and battled cancer multiple times, but it never stopped her from giving out the best in herself. Heather took her last breath at The Dignity Center. Heather was born in Augusta, GA on October 27, 1983.
Heather was always deeply involved in sports (softball, basketball, volleyball) but had a never ending passion for softball. During her softball career she played as one of the areas most talented catchers for Riverside Middle, Greenbrier High (Legend c/o 2002), Columbia County Rec Dept (All Stars Walk years 1999/2000/2001/2002) and went off to play in college at University of North Florida. Heather completed 8 years in the US Navy where she worked as a Quartermaster (ship navigation). She then graduated with a Bachelors of Nursing and was employed in her career as a nurse at University Hospital, MCG, AU and Covenant Pediatrics. Her colleagues knew her as a kind soul, always willing to cheer kids up with hugs and that anchor that stood strong during any storm. Heather is survived by her parents Ronald & Teresa Adams, her sister Kayla Adams Lariscy, her two children Tristen & Presleigh Robinson. She was preceded in death by her unborn child, Nathaniel Robinson.
Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Heather at Steven's Creek Church in Augusta GA on (specified date) from 6 to 8 p.m. The family will have a private celebration of life send off as requested per Heather prior to her final departure to be buried at sea aboard the USS ESSEX LHD-2.
