On July 24, 2024, the world lost a beloved Bronx resident, Hector Cuevas. Born on April 22, 1972, Hector lived a full and vibrant life.

Hector was a dedicated father to his two children, Luis Lennex Nieves and Juan Angel Reyes. He took great pride in their accomplishments, including their education at Escuela Superior Dr. Gilberto Concepción de Gracia high school.

When he wasn't supporting his children, Hector could be found pursuing his hobbies. He had a passion for golf and loved nothing more than spending time on the green. He also enjoyed playing dominoes with friends and family.

Tragically, Hector passed away from heart failure due to pancreatic cancer. While his light may have dimmed, the memories of his kindness, laughter, and love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew him.
