It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Hector Martinez, who left us on January 6, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hector was born on March 6, 1949, and lived a full and vibrant life.

Hector dedicated many years of his life to serving in the US Army, reaching the rank of E7 before retiring in 1979. He was a proud and dedicated soldier who served his country with honor and distinction.

When he wasn't serving his country, Hector enjoyed working on cars as a hobby. He could often be found tinkering in his garage, fixing up old vehicles and making them look like new.

He is survived by his two children, Jeronimo and Isaias Tapia, as well as three grandchildren. While we mourn his passing, we take comfort in the knowledge that his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Hector will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
