FRANKEN, Heinz AugustFebruary 25, 2910 - May 16, 2017In Loving Memory of Heinz August Franken who was born on February 25, 1930 in St. Hubert, Germany. Heinz passed away on May 16, 2017 at his home in Kelowna, British Columbia at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Phyllis Franken; by his sisters-in-law Kay, Elsie, and Eileen; and his brother-in-law Robert (Jessane). Heinz retired from the ILWU (International Longshore & Warehouse Union) and he enjoyed golfing and wood carving. His wife would like to thank Dr. Auret Van Heerden and staff for their care and support of Heinz. There will be no service as requested by the family. Heinz will be sadly missed by his family and friends near and far.
