It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Gorrell, beloved mother, partner, and friend. Helen was born on April 1, 1953, to the late William and Late Melissa Purkey.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Gorrell, and his fiancé Julie Wright. Helen was a retired beautician who dedicated her life to making others look and feel beautiful. She retired in 2005 to spend more time pursuing her hobbies, which included gardening and playing cards with her sisters.

She shared a beautiful life with her partner, the late Joel Gorrell, who passed away in 2001

Helen passed away suddenly on May 5, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

There will be no services. A private family celebration of life will be held at her home May 13th.

The family asks that no flowers be sent to the home.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the flowers she loved so dearly.
