Helen Hannah GoodnerAnkenyHelen Hannah Goodner passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Helen was born on May 28, 1920 in West Side, Iowa to R. Robert Hannah and Delia Mason Hannah.Survivors include daughter Diane (Benito) Rivera of Bloomington, IN, sons Doug Goodner of Kalona, Steve (Deb) of Ankeny, Tom (Ellen) of Murfreesboro, TN, and Brian (Dianne) of West Des Moines as well as 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Robert L. (Connie) Hannah of Goleta, CA.Preceding her in death were her parents, stepmother Emma Wilken Hannah and brother Ralph M. Hannah.A memorial service will be 11am Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Grace United Methodist Church, 3700 Cottage Grove Ave., Des Moines, IA 50311. The family will greet friends from 10am till service time that morning. Lunch and fellowship will follow at the church.Inurnment will be at a later date in Friends Cemetery, New Sharon, IA.Memorials: Grace United Methodist Church.
