Helen Jean Gamble was born July 18, 1937, in Texarkana, Arkansas to the late James Ellis Gamble and Gloria Dean Gamble. She departed this life for home in Glory April 12, 2019, at home in  Macnab, Arkansas. Those awaiting her arrival and to welcome her to eternal home were: her father James Ellis Gamble, her maternal and paternal grandparents and her brother Ellis Ray Ragland. Helen accepted Christ at an early age and attended New Mt. Olive Baptist Church. 

Throughout her life, Helen provided joy and happiness to all her family and everyone she met. A beautiful singer, Helen's solo voice was a frequent request by lovers of music. Laughter and kindness were also her hallmarks; whether it be toward her coworkers at Tyson Foods, where she worked devotedly, or toward the many friends she met along her life's journey. But, by far her greatest joy was gathering with family, including her family's reunion, which she never missed. The love and devotion she had for them were only matched by the equal love and devotion they had for her.

She leaves to cherish her precious and unforgettable memories and hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
