Helen M. Sanchez, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 7, 2012 surrounded by her family, at her home in Yuma. She was born on February 6, 1934 in Yuma, AZ. Helen is survived by her daughters, Debra Brena, Angie Enriquez, Rosie Sanchez, Vicky Sanchez, Christina Sanchez; sons, Mitchell Hinzo, Andy Hinzo, Fernando Sanchez Jr, Raymond Sanchez; 27 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Nunez; husband, Fernando Sanchez and her son Ernie Hinzo.Viewing will be held at Desert Valley Mortuary on October 11, 2012 between 6:00pm to 9:00pm with rosary beginning at 7:00pm. Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00am.Pallbearers will be grandchildren; Robert Hinzo Sr, Robert Hinzo Jr, Alex Robles, Eugene Piña, Andrew Jimenez, Tiffany Sanchez, Vanessa Sanchez and Emily Hinzo.
