Helen Elliott-Veasley was born September 17, 1941, to the parentage of George and Lenora Elliott. She attended Booker T. Washington School and was a life-long member of St. Paul A.M.E Church. She was employed with Hordan Home Health.
Her life was centered around her faith in God, spending time with family, and her love of watching sports and soap operas. On December 1, 2017, Helen answered the Lords call: Welcome home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, YuLinda Hargrave; two sisters Evelyn Green and Mary Sue Elliott; three brothers Clearance Farrier, Lee Elliott, and Rayfield Farrier; a grandson Rodney Young a nephew Henry Elliott and niece Rosilyn Elliott.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Willie James Veasley; four daughters Helen Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; Betty Thomas, Beverly (Wayne) Walker of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Latasha (Hero) of Killeen, Texas; three sons John (Beverly) Hargrave of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; Billy (LaShonda) Hargrave of Dallas, Texas; Quinn Hargrave (Kristi) of Arlington, Texas; a sister Johnetta Pierce of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; two brothers George Albert Elliott of Mt. Pleasant, Texas George Luthur Elliott of Los Angeles, California; special nieces TeQweta Dudley and Sureka HOlmes of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; twenty grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, a a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
