Schuh, HelenHelen Schuh, 95, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Country Villa in Freedom. Helen was born on August 20, 1921 to Victor and Josephine Lingnowski in Menasha. On June 27, 1942 she was united in marriage to Merlin Schuh. Together they started and operated Schuh Transport in 1952, and her sons have continued to operate the business. Helen was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sewing. Helen was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Helen is survived by four children; Alan Schuh, Tim (Deb) Schuh, Susan Schuh, and Steve Schuh, two grandchildren; Tricia (Brian) Vanevenhoven and Trina Schuh, two great grandchildren; Carter and Ella Vanevenhoven, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her siblings.The funeral liturgy for Helen will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 12:15 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:15 AM until the time of the mass at church. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers for the exceptional care they received especially Tina, Sandra and Gina and her hospice nurse Tara.
